Actor Walter Olkewicz died, recognized for among his various film and series projects for his participations in the series “Twin Peaks” and “Seinfeld”. He was 72 years old and was at his home in Reseda, Los Angeles. The news was released by his son Zac, who is a screenwriter, in dialogue with the specialized medium Deadline. “He was a good man who boosted his love of creativity and the arts in everything he did. He passed on that passion to me and I hope I can pass it on to the grandchildren he loved so much,” he said.
He was born on May 14, 1948 in Bayonne, New Jersey and his television debut came from “Future World” in 1976. He was also part of Steven Spielberg’s 1941 film, as Private Hinshaw. But his most popular character was bartender and dealer Jacques Renault, in “Twin Peaks”, which he played in both the series and the 1992 film.
