Mexico. – With the purchase of medicines abroad with the support of the United Nations Office of Project Services, the federal government carries savings of 11 billion pesos.
President López Obrador points out that while obstacles have been presented to the consolidated procurement of medicines and medical supplies abroad, corruption in the sector is being tackled.
At the morning press conference, he mentioned that progress is being made to ensure that medical care and medicines are delivered for free. “It’s the people’s right to health, it’s a constitutional right,” he says.
The representative accused them of facing a campaign against them and that it was even mentioned that children with cancer did not have the drug to press and that the purchases were kept as before.

It noted that in the previous six-sex period companies that controlled the market did not deliver quality medicines and there was even delay in distribution.
