Zamora, Michoacan .- A man was hit twice by a firearm projectile after being attacked by unknown persons in front of his home located in the el Porvenir neighborhood. The alleged assailants fled prior to the arrival of the police.
The violent event occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Monday, on Guadalupe Victoria Street between López Rayón and Matamoros streets, where for reasons hitherto ignored, the gunmen shot him repeatedly.
The area was guarded by the agents of the Municipal Public Security Directorate, while the rescue and rescue paramedics were the ones who granted first aid to the injured.
The injured man is Leopoldo J., M., also known as “El Polo,” 50, who was taken to the emergency room of a local hospital for proper medical attention, where he was hospitalized.
