Sinaloa.- The National Meteorological System (SMN) of the National Water Commission (Conagua) forecast rains for this Monday, August 30 due to the effects of the natural depression Nora in the northwest of México.De according to official information, from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. very heavy to intense punctual rains are expected, accompanied by electric shocks with possible hail and strong gusts of wind in the vicinity of: Sonora: Yécora, Cajeme, Empalme, Guaymas, Navojoa, Etchojoa, Huatabampo and Alamos Chihuahua: Uruachi, Temósachic, Bacoyna, Chínipas, Urique, Guachochi, Batopilas, Guadalipe and Calvo and Morelos. Sinaloa: Choix, El Fuerte, Ahome, Sinaloa, Guasave, Badiraguato, Culiacán, Cosalá, Mazatlán, Concordia, Rosario and Escuinapa. Baja California Sur: Loreto, Comondú, La Paz and Los Cabos. Similarly, heavy rains are expected in the municipalities of San Dimas, Tamazula and Otáez, located in the state of Durango.The SMN also forecast wind gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour and waves of one to two meters in the states of Sonora and Sinaloa. While in Baja California and the Gulf of Baja California winds of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour and waves of one to two meters high are expected.
