PRI, PAN and PRD will compete in alliance for four governorships in 2022

The leaders of the Va por México alliance, made up of the PRI, PAN and PRD, announced that they will compete in coalition for the governorships of Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo and Tamaulipas, next year.
They indicated that they are holding talks regarding the governorships of Oaxaca and Quintana Roo.
Marko Cortés, president of the PAN, said that before January 2, an electoral coalition agreement must be signed or if they leave for some other modality of common candidacy, because the pre-campaigns begin that day.

“We have been talking about the leaders of the three parties, regarding the 2022 electoral process, we have made good progress, together with our local leaders, we have agreed to go together in some form of electoral alliance, coalition or common candidacy, in four states of the six that will be in dispute,” he said.

Jesús Zambrano, national leader of the PRD, said he has full confidence that they will win the majority of the 2022 elections; said that care will be taken that at least three of the six candidacies are for women.

“In these states of the Republic, where we are going to go together, we are going to integrate coalition governments, it is not only about governments of composition … We will promote in the legislatures that the figure of government coalitions be included,” he said.
He pointed out that in this route that Va por México continues to walk is to lay the foundations so that in 2024 they remove from the government “the causes of the national nightmare in the country.”

We are fully confident that we can win the most states in #2022. We have the great challenge of refining the coalition agreements and the modality of selecting our best profiles. We will scrupulously comply with gender parity in all six candidacies! pic.twitter.com/bmeN997QSt
