Military expelled in three communities of Guerrero

Chilapa, Guerrero.- The Emiliano Zapata Indigenous and Popular Council (CIPOG-EZ) expelled elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the National Guard (GN) from three communities in Guerrero for disarming for allegedly disarming and assaulting members of the community police of the place. However, it was the same council that in recent days requested the intervention of federal security forces to repel attacks by criminal groups operating in the area. This request was made after a group calling itself the Ardillos attacked the towns of Xochitempa, Nuevo Amanecer and Xolotepec, Guerrero.Last Monday, the CIPOG-EZ declared that the three communities were attacked by Los Ardillas, so they requested the help of the federals. They also threatened to hold them back if they return, because at their trials they only managed to disarm and beat the community police who protect the area. It was necessary for the director of the Government of the State of Guerrero, Francisco Rodríguez Cisneros, to arrive at the place to reassure the population and mediate with the Army. In addition, he promised to organize a security meeting for next January 3 in the community of Alcozacán.Al regard, the Indigenous and Popular Council of Guerrero Emiliano Zapata issued a statement explaining the one perpetrated by Los Ardillos on December 27 in the towns of Xochitempa, Nuevo Amanecer and Xolotepec.In the same document they indicate that in the face of the violent events registered in the region they requested the intervention of the National Guard, Sedena, state and municipal police of Chilapa to confront the aforementioned criminal group, however, they arrived beating and disarming their own community security forces.
