Skiers Francesca Baruzzi and Franco Dal Farra will be in charge of carrying the Argentine flag at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, which will begin in Beijing, China, on February 4. The president of the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA), Mario Moccia, informed the members of the albiceleste delegation of the election of the nominees: “The Athletes’ Commission was evaluating the four applications (Franco Dal Farra, Francesca Baruzzi, Verónica Ravenna and Victoria Rodriguez López) and on Monday he sent us to the Board of Directors the proposal that was approved unanimously.”
