On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health confirmed 554 new cases of COVID and 12 deaths.
According to the technical report of the agency, there have been 5 million 537 thousand 54 infections and 322 thousand 119 deaths from the disease since the beginning of the pandemic. To these are added 14,119 deaths classified as suspicious.

In two weeks, the trend of infections has been reduced by 36%. Health estimates that there are 10,847 active cases, that is, they presented symptoms in the last 14 days.
The entities with the most active cases per 100,000 inhabitants are Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur and Mexico City.

Nationally, hospital occupancy of general beds for COVID patients stood at 7%, while for ventilator beds it is 5%.
With 33 thousand 562 doses applied, this Monday the 188 million 885 thousand 665 vaccines supplied were reached.
80 million 732 thousand 535 people over 18 years of age – equivalent to 90% of the adult population – have received at least one dose of vaccine against the coronavirus.
In the case of young people between 14 and 17 years old, the authorities report that 8 million 894 thousand 16 have at least half a vaccination schedule.
