College Transition Test: Learn when the winter exam registration deadline expires and how to register

For the first time, two university entrance exams will be held in the year. In an unprecedented way, the first will take place on July 4 and 5 of this year and its results will be valid for the admission process of the year 2023. This is one of the series of changes that have occurred from the defunct PSU, to the current PTU. 
This will be the last process to bear this name, since from next year it will be called the Higher Education Access Test (PAES). The results of the OCT held in the second week of July will be on August 5. If they are not satisfied with the results, students will be able to opt for the traditional test carried out in the summer season.
Until when is there a deadline for registration?
The registration process for the first test that will be developed for the 2023 process began on April 11 and ends this Friday, April 29. For this exam there are 50 thousand places available that will be considered according to order of registration. In case of not reaching that number, the registration process for the test will be extended.
Who can register?
The only requirement presented by the Ministry of Education for registration to this test is to have graduated from high school. Students who are still in their fourth grade will be able to do so in the summer exam. It is important to know that the price of surrender of a test is $ 13,800, while that of two, is $ 25,195 and three or four, is $ 36,590.
Where do potential applicants register?
Applicants for education must access the Mineduc registration portal, and then follow the corresponding steps indicated on the same page.
