Covid-19 report: 31,198 infections reported, 26% less than last week

The Ministry of Health announced a total of 126 deaths from coronavirus and 31,198 infections, in the last week in the country. This number represented 26% fewer cases than last Sunday (42,227). According to the data released, the number of deaths increased 77% compared to last week when 71 deaths had been reported. In this way, there are 129,566 deaths officially registered nationwide and 9,633,732 those infected since the beginning of the pandemic. The health portfolio indicated that there are 459 inmates with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of adult bed occupancy in the public and private sector, for all pathologies, of 43.3% in the country. During the last week 18 people died in Buenos Aires, 7 in the City of Buenos Aires, 2 in Catamarca, 8 in Chaco, 1 in Chubut, 9 in Corrientes, 5 in Córdoba, 2 in Entre Ríos, 1 in Formosa, 1 in Jujuy, 2 in La Rioja, 1 in Mendoza, 1 in Misiones, 1 in Neuquén, 2 in Río Negro, 10 in Salta, 1 in San Juan, 1 in San Luis, 2 in Santiago del Estero, 1 in Tierra del Fuego, and 50 in Tucumán.According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total doses applied amounts to 108,403,337, of which 40,909,190 received one dose, 37,737,727 both, 3,140,703 an additional, 21,181,913 the first reinforcement, and 5,407,306 the second, while vaccines distributed to jurisdictions reach 114,567,038 and those donated to 5,083,000.
