Water tariff: who can access the subsidy and how to sign up

From next November begins the removal of subsidies for Aysa users. According to the official scheme, subsidies to higher-income households will be completely eliminated, according to the location of the home, and for middle-income sectors there will be a staggered reduction. But those users who are in areas classified as high or middle income and need to maintain the subsidy, can now register by completing an affidavit through the website www.argentina.gob.ar/eras. In addition, for those who do not have access to the internet, they can approach a company office in person. As the company explained in August, the removal of subsidies would be carried out by zone that are divided into high, low and medium: the high-income zone is the one that will lose 100% of the subsidies from November; the middle-income zone will receive a gradual reduction, in November the subsidy will become 40%, 20% in January and full rate from March 2023; and users in low-income areas will have subsidies of 45% from November, 30% from January and 15% in March, which will be maintained for one year. On the other hand, users of social and community tariff will be exempt from segmentation, therefore, they will not lose the benefit. Who can sign up for the Aysa subsidy
– Households that have net income less than a value equivalent to two Total Basic Baskets (CBT) for a Type 2 household according to INDEC. That value is equivalent in October to $ 239,514.- A member with a Family Housing Certificate (ReNaBaP).- An address where a dining room or community picnic area registered in RENACOM works.- At least one member of the household with Life Pension of South Atlantic War Veterans.- At least one member with a certificate of disability and, considering the members of the household as a whole, have a net income less than a value equivalent to three Total Basic Baskets (CBT). Likewise, those who own two or more properties will be excluded, considering the members of the household as a whole, or are owners of a vehicle up to three years old (except for households where there is at least one member with a Unique Certificate of Disability). The benefit of maintaining the subsidy will be valid for one year from the date of acceptance and may be renewed under the conditions set by the regulatory body. The data will then be checked with the information available in the National Tax and Social Identification System (Sintys). What subsidy do those who complete the affidavit receive?
Users who meet the requirements to maintain the benefit will get 45% subsidy from November 2022; 30% subsidy from January 2023 and 15% subsidy from March 2023.How to get the benefit if the service is not in your name
Those people who rent or who do not have the service in their name will be able to register to maintain the subsidies but must indicate that they are not the holders. They register as a “service user”. Likewise, those who receive a single invoice per consortium may also request the benefit. In that case, the service account number should be used together with the supply number (it is the portion within the consortium distribution). After obtaining the benefit, the consortium administrator must give the corresponding discount to each unit.
