The train between Rosario and Buenos Aires will have an express service

From the Ministry of Labor, together with Trenes Argentinos, they added a new express frequency between Retiro and Rosario during the weekends. The first trip will be on December 3, departing from the Buenos Aires terminal on Saturdays at 6:12 and returning on Sundays at 16:26.The presentation of the new frequency was carried out by the Secretary of Transportation, Diego Giuliano, and the president of Trenes Argentinos, Martin Marinucci. In that sense, the first indicated: “We launched an express train that takes less than 5 hours, that means saving time and money for users and giving competitiveness to the railway system.”

At the same time, the official of the ministry led by Alexis Guerrera explained: “When we began our management, the Rosario Buenos Aires train took 8hs 20 and, at this moment, we are inaugurating an express service of 4hs 58, between Retiro and Rosario Sur, on weekends. This will promote tourism and the link with the city of Rosario.” For his part, Marinucci highlighted: “The decision of the Minister of Transport, Alexis Guerrera, to recover the operation of this branch allowed us to significantly reduce travel times and incorporate this second service.”

The train from Buenos Aires to Rosario Sur station will take 4:55 hours; while at Rosario Norte station, you will arrive at 5:40.The price of the ticket will be 420 pesos in first and 505 in pullman. In turn, tickets will be available from this Monday, November 21; for the months of December, January, February and March.
