The act of the Puebla Group that was going to lead Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was postponed until March

The Puebla Group announced today that the act that Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was going to lead along with President Alberto Fernández and several former presidents against lawfare was postponed until March of next year. The meeting, which was to be held at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK) on Monday 12 initially and which had to be postponed because the Vice President tested positive for Covid-19, was promoted by Alberto Fernández himself and aims to “close ranks to denounce the lawfare against Cristina Fernández”. The Puebla Group announced the postponement through its official website although it did not set an exact date for the event, which was to be attended by the President of the Nation, the Vice President, the former Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff; the Spanish judge Baltazar Garzón and the Brazilian jurist and defense lawyer of Lula da Silva, Carol Proner. Also the former presidents José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (Spain), Evo Morales (Bolivia), Ernesto Samper (Colombia), and José “Pepe” Mujica (Uruguay), among others. However, the postponement of the event to March 2023 means that other police figures who had commitments assumed for Monday can participate as would be the case of the vice president of Spain, Yolanda Díaz; the former Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa and the then acting Brazilian president Luiz Inácio “Lula” Da Silva. In turn, the postponement of the day also led to the suspension of the mobilization of different unions and political organizations that was also planned in the face of the CCK.La sentence against Fernández de Kirchner last Tuesday in the Vialidad case provoked the reaction of several leaders of the region who came out to express their solidarity with the former president as the presidents of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador; from Bolivia, Luis Arce; and from Honduras, Xiomara Castro, among others.
