After touring the Line 12 tunnel, the head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum, recalled that it will be on January 15 when operations begin in that section.
What stations are going to work?
The section of the Line 12 tunnel covers the stations Mixcoac, Insurgentes Sur, Hospital 20 de Noviembre, Zapata, Parque de los venados, Eje Central, Ermita, Mexicalcingo and Atlalilco.

Sheinbaum assured that the rehabilitation of the underground section was done according to the indications of the technical advisory committee.
“All observations have already been made, all the necessary actions have already been carried out, we are ready so that this section can be opened to users,” he said during a press conference.
Regarding the elevated section, which runs from Culhuacán to Tlahúac, the head of government said that its rehabilitation is expected to be completed during the first half of next year.

On May 3, 2021, a part of the elevated viaduct of Line 12 collapsed and left 26 people dead, 104 injured, thousands affected in terms of mobility and doubts about the construction of the work.
Enrique Horcasitas and nine other former officials who worked on the Metro Project are under investigation after being charged with homicide, culpable injury and property damage.
The families of the victims demand justice, that there be no impunity and that guarantees be given that such an event will not happen again.
So far, 10 former officials have been linked to the prosecution of the case.
