The Indiana Jones saga, starring Harrison Ford and directed by Steven Spielberg, returns to present the historical professor of archaeology, Henry Walton Jones Jr, in this fifth installment, which this time will be directed by James Mangold. “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”, It will be released in theaters on June 29, 2023, alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Antonio Banderas and continues with the adventures of Ford that is more relevant than ever. In the preview presented by LucasFilm, we see the actor in different action scenes, such as chases on horseback, cars and even throwing himself from a plane. The cast is completed by John Rhys-Davies (INDIANA JONES AND THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK), Shaunette Renee Wilson (BLACK PALESTHER), Thomas Kretschmann (The Submarine), Toby Jones (JURASSIC WORLD THE FALLEN KINGDOM), Boyd Holbrook (LOGAN), Oliver Richters (BLACK WIDOW), Ethann Isidore (Mortel) and Mads Mikkelsen (Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets). And although Spielberg was not the director of this installment, as he did in the previous four, he produced the film with George Lucas.
