Bedolla starts work under bridge of the road distributor Mil Cumbres

It is a comprehensive project in favor of pedestrians and their safety, with an investment of $43 million pesos
Morelia, Michoacán. – Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla started the work of the low bridge of the road distributor exit to Mil Cumbres with the planting of trees in the area. In total, 43 million pesos will be invested in a comprehensive project that will be in favor of the mobility and safety of pedestrians, he said in a statement.
Along with the secretaries of Urban Development and Mobility, Gladyz Butanda Macías; of Finance and Administration, Luis Navarro García, and of Communications and Public Works, Rogelio Zarazúa Sánchez, the president explained that when the work was designed they forgot about pedestrians, citizens, urban public transport and mobility safely.
“We learned of the concerns of the merchants, neighbors and the entire environment that was not considered for the work that was finally done, but we could not stop collecting that feeling, those voices that said we had to improve the public space,” shared Ramírez Bedolla.

Therefore, he highlighted the investment of 43 million in safe walkers, green and commercial areas, skate park, safe whereabouts for transport, sculptural area, children’s area, gym, among others; “That is, we are going to humanize the work so that the people of Morelia have the pleasure of walking, crossing and feeling safe,” he emphasized.
Gladyz Butanda Macías celebrated the start of a project that represents an important change for Michoacán with better mobility conditions for citizens.
“When we toured the work we saw the possibility of improving it and we have designed spaces taking into account the hierarchy of mobility, sensitivity, gender perspective and road safety,” he concluded.
