During the discussion of the Mobility and Road Safety Law for Michoacán, the Legislator presented a reservation to apply a 10 to 50% discount on public transport to people with this condition.
Morelia, Michoacán. – Following up on the proposal she had presented a year ago to the Congress of Michoacán, the Local Deputy of the Labor Party, Belinda Hurtado Marín, presented a reservation to the State Mobility and Road Safety Law, to apply a 10 to 50 percent discount to people with disabilities, seniors, students and teachers, according to a statement.
The purpose of this amendment proposal is to protect the economy of families in these sectors.

“Discounts on transportation for people with disabilities, seniors, students and teachers should not be left to the discretion of an authority, it must be a right that is fulfilled; taking into consideration that their income is very precarious and that most of them come from their pensions, but now with this reserve a discount of 10 to 50% is proposed that is made effective for these people. ”
Hurtado Marín pointed out that this action will mean substantial help, in addition to responding to a commitment and a claim from citizens.
