Jorge Lanata was hospitalized again after presenting a feverish picture

Hours after receiving medical discharge, Jorge Lanata was again admitted to the Favaloro Foundation after presenting a feverish picture on his birthday. The journalist who was hospitalized since August 23 for a urinary infection had finally returned home on Monday, September 11, however a new picture led him to return to the care of an intensive therapy to obtain further observation. Accompanied by his wife, lawyer Elba Marcovechio, Lanata will celebrate his 63 years at the clinic while they perform the relevant studies and administer the correct medications to stabilize the condition. Days ago the lawyer expressed her concern for the health of her partner and for the addiction to cigarettes that he cannot handle and complicates the delicate health, since the journalist is a transplant patient, which infers, greater care. “He’s like the prisoners, looking to smoke. Smoking is an addiction. Jorge has quit smoking, one or two months, but he didn’t want any more. Now he smokes less.
