Alfonso Martinez’s possible corruption in Autism Clinic must be reviewed by Congress: Celis

Juan Pablo Celis Silva, leader of Morena in Michoacán, called on the deputies of the State Congress to order an audit of the Autism Clinic in Morelia, for whose construction 27 million pesos were allocated, but Mayor Alfonso Martínez keeps in black work, they reported in a statement.
The leader added that he will ask the Morena deputies to carry out an exhaustive review on the delay in the conclusion of the Care Clinic for Minors with Autism Spectrum, financed with 27 million pesos from the State Contributions Fund for the Infrastructure of Public Services of the Municipalities (FAEISPUM) of the Government of Michoacán.
The work, executed by the municipal government headed by Alfonso Martínez, was awarded to a construction company that is allegedly linked to Miguel Ángel Aguirre Abellaneda, who was removed from his position as auditor by the Congress of Michoacán and who faces a judicial investigation for possible acts of corruption such as influence peddling, Celis Silva said.
Currently, the work is paralyzed and the exercise of the budget is being audited by the Comptroller of Michoacán, which is why Juan Pablo Celis called on the Parliamentary Group of Morena in Michoacán, as well as the deputies of other fractions, to review this case in detail and take the necessary measures to resolve this situation.
The Care Clinic for Children with Autism is vitally important to the community and its delay raises significant concerns, he stressed.
The review of this case is an important step to ensure transparency and accountability in the use of public resources destined for projects of social benefit such as this one, concluded Juan Pablo Celis.
