Cristina Kirchner met with representatives of the National Women’s Network

The Vice President of the Nation, Cristina Kirchner, met this Friday in the Chamber of Senators with members of the National Network of Argentine Women-Building Community in a meeting that took place in a closed way in the Arturo Illia Hall of the Legislative Palace. According to official information, this meeting was attended by “women from all over the country and from all walks of life.” The event became a space for dialogue and reflection on gender issues, women’s rights and the struggle for equality. During the meeting, issues relevant to the feminist movement were addressed and strategies to advance the gender agenda were discussed in Argentina.La vice president expressed her gratitude on Instagram after the meeting. In her post, she highlighted the diversity of the women present at the meeting, noting that some of them were religious whom she had met after the attack she suffered just over a year ago.
