Morelia, Michoacán.- The state leader of MORENA in Michoacán, Juan Pablo Celis Silva, announced that on December 28 he will hold a dialogue table with the allied parties, to analyze the way in which they will work together in the face of next year’s elections.
“Tomorrow the first table will be set up with our allied comrades, we have all the confidence that we are going to move forward, we are going to review the numbers, we are going to review the data that MORENA has, the data that the Green Party has, the priorities that MORENA has, the priorities that the Green Party has, based on that we are going to weave, We’re going to design a participation agreement.”
In a meeting with the media, where the team of the pre-candidate for the presidency of the republic for MORENA, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, as well as different leaders of MORENA in Michoacán, was present, the coordinator mentioned that the districts and municipalities have already been analyzed, based on that it will be possible to decide where to add the allied parties.
As far as Morelia is concerned, Celis Silva, said that they will value going together for the presidency of the capital, it will have to be defined with the other leaders but he sees good spirits, he also commented that even without having an elected candidate, MORENA alone is above the current mayor, Alfonso Martínez Alcázar, in the polls.
“The party alone is in a higher percentage than Alfonso Martínez, we are going to work on that, MORENA has sixty percent of preferences, according to the polls and we will have to define a good candidate and weave unity.”
