Los Reyes, Mich.- After almost 24 hours, personnel of Civil Protection of the State and Los Reyes, managed to rescue the lifeless body of a subject who fell from the Iturrias Bridge, in this town of Los Reyes and which is on the border with the state of Jalisco.
The subject, whose identity was not revealed, allegedly, along with other people, was carrying out improvement work on the road that leads to Jalisco communities and told his companions that he was going to the bathroom, but he did not return, so they were looking for him, without being able to find him, due to the conditions of the terrain.
Hours later it was sighted on the banks of the bridge known as Iturria, at a considerable depth, so they requested the support of the local authorities, who in turn asked for help from specialists from the State Civil Protection.
After arduous hours of work and with rappelling techniques, rescuers managed to rescue the body of the man who is approximately 55 to 60 years old, who was wearing blue denim and who had injuries to his head and other parts of the body.
The personnel of the State Attorney General’s Office who went to the scene ordered that the body be sent to the Forensic Medical Service of the city of Uruapan for which the pertinent studies will be carried out.
